Why did you install Linux, not knocking it either? Is it to make the best use of low amounts of RAM and CPU? One problem with abandoning the whole Windows thing is the software that is available.

@Chris Parkes Microsoft(r) Windows(tm) costs money to license while Linux is free and "[m]aking usable boxes from junk, to donate" and then massively invest in the OS would be unwise. Also there is lots of (free) software available for Linux.
